Howdy
For most of my life as a photographer I used old, free 35mm cameras I tended to inherit after a friend of mine gave me his dad's old Yashica TL Super in 1999. I took it to a camera shop and they told me its light meter was broken and it wasn't worth using. Instead of buying a camera from them, which is what they suggested I consider, I shot about 2000 roles thru it, at first having no clue what I was doing. Now I've been thru about 10 old 35mm's - and can shoot without a light meter if necessary. Most of the shots in my gallery were taken on film, although Photoshop has always been a part of my process.  About a year ago I got a digital Rebel and have worked mostly with it since, but I still pull out the Yashica periodically for fun.For some video action check out: [link]  If you want to listen to me be a radio host go here [link] between 6 and 9 eastern time, Monday thru Friday.
